For the first time in South India the highest quality introductory courses to Ayurveda Purvakarmas and Pradhana Karmas including Panchakarma shall be accessible to fresh BAMS physicians as also practising Ayurveda physicians who would like to widen and strengthen their knowledge of the principles and practice of classical Ayurveda Shodhana Karma. These basic (1 month) and advanced (2 months) certificate courses are systematically designed and provides indepth coverage of both practical and theoretical aspects of Panchakarma.

Practical & Theory Sessions

Relatively, more importance is given to the practical training so that students can develop confidence in practicing various Panchakarma procedures individually. Theory sessions includes in-depth explanations of Purvakarma and Pradhanakarma procedures. The practical sessions includes AyurvedaSnehana(internal & external both) techniques, various Svedana techniques, classical Panchakarma (Vamana, Virechana, all major types of Vasti, Nasya, and Jalaukavcharana), Udwartana, Keraliya Chikitsa Paddhati and much more. Importantly, establishing samyak lakshanas of the purvakarmas and pradhanakarmas is stressed upon, to ensure precision of Ayurveda care provided. Additionally, the role of Panchakarma in Striroga, Shalakya, Shalya and Kayachikitsa shall be covered.
Upon successful completion of the course requirements, participants shall receive a formal certificate from Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar. The course shall be conducted at AyurVAID Hospitals, Domlur, Bangalore 71.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Registered Medical Practitioners of AYUSH system and from Modern medical system.
  • Internees, PG & Ph.D. scholars of Ayurved.
  • Degree or Diploma holders in Ayurved from any recognized institution from outside India. All those are working as Panchakarma therapist/assistant in Ayurveda centers.
  • All those interested candidates who have completed the 4 weeks basic certificate course in Panchakarma.
