Rajiv Vasudevan, Founder and CEO

Rajiv Vasudevan, founder of AyurVAID, is responsible for providing leadership and operational excellence to all aspects of the business.

Rajiv has worked in a diverse set of leadership roles in the private and government sectors including operations as well as profit center management roles at Godrej and Motorola (Country Head, PSG, India & SAARC). He also served the Government of Kerala as CEO-Technopark, Director-Kerala State IT Mission, and later as Special Officer – Biotechnology.

Rajiv holds a B.Tech (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from NIT-Calicut and a MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He qualified as an ‘assessor’ of the National Board for Accreditation for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), Quality Council of India in 2007, making him the first person from the Ayurveda sector to receive this accreditation. Further, Rajiv is a member of the technical committee constituted by the Government of India for formulation of NABH accreditation standards for Ayurveda hospitals.

He has served on the Board of Directors of State Bank of India, Kerala LHO, and is currently a member of the Board of Governors of his alma mater, NIT-Calicut.


Sajan Ganapathy, Head- Hospital Operations

Sajan Ganapathy joined AyurVAID in 2008. He is a core member of the leadership team of the company and oversees operations of all AyurVAID hospitals/centers. He is responsible for ensuring smooth and effective operations across the centers such that quality medical care is delivered to patients leading to highest level of medical outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Prior to AyurVAID, Sajan has more than ten years consulting and implementation experience, mainly in Agribusiness and SME sectors. He also has significant experience of working in ‘start-up’ firms. He worked as a Consultant for Technoserve, as Chief Executive Officer of Just Change India Producer Company and as Programme Officer at ActionAid India.

Sajan holds an MBA from the prestigious Institute of Rural Management, Anand.


Jagadish Kumar, Lead- CRM

Jagadish is responsible for developing an engagement model with AyurVAID’s existing patient base across all our hospitals towards sustained good health, in line with our core purpose. Further, Jagadish oversees the lead generation and management process leading to customer acquisition.

Jagadish has been associated with the BPO industry for six years holding various positions in Sales, Customer Care and Quality assurance. Most recently, he handled the Telesales and Campaign Management team of Bharti-AXA Life Insurance for South India and was responsible for Lead Generation, Vendor Management and Telesales. Prior to that, he managed the business excellence team for TBSS with key responsibility for customer satisfaction improvement and overall quality of service for Tata Indicom, Kerala.

Jagadish holds a B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunication. Further, he has completed his diploma in Computer Applications and has qualified as a Six Sigma Green Belt.

His hobbies include driving, and watching sports and movies.


Ramadas Kallampilly Narayanan, Senior Manager- Corporate Finance

Ramadas joined AyurVAID in 2008. His primary responsibilities include management of statutory audit, internal and concurrent audit, analysis and implementation of system improvements, and payroll processing.

Ramadas has over 24 years experience in the field of Finance and Accounts. Before joining AyurVAID Hospitals, he worked as Manager in Audits with M/s Kuriachan & Nova, Chartered Accountants, Chennai, as well as Magma Leasing, and Eicher SP Financial Services.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calicut and has completed training per the regulations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Total Quality Management, BaaN (ERP), and Tally.

He enjoys reading, listening to music, and writing.


Unnikrishnan P, Manager- Quality Improvement

Unnikrishnan, or fondly ‘Unni’, has been with AyurVAID Hospitals since November 2008. He is responsible for Quality Assurance at the corporate and branch level and adapts best practice sharing to continuously improve quality systems. One of his primary functions has been to oversee for AyurVAID’s flagship hospital at Domlur key alignments necessary to achieve thereafter to ensure continued compliance with the requirements of the NABH standard. He ensures best in class medical records management across the organisation and oversight of key performance indicators.

Prior to Joining AyurVAID, he trained at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi & Manipal Hospital, Bangalore.

Unni holds a Masters Degree in Hospital Administration from Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham and a Bachelor of Commerce with concentration in Computer Applications from Bharathiar University.

He enjoys playing chess, reading books, and listening to music.
