His professional journey includes notable stints at Kottakal Arya Vaidyasala (5 years) and Birla Kerala Vaidyashala (2 years), as well as teaching at Hillside Ayurveda Medical College in the Department of Dravya Gunam. Dr. Rakesh has dedicated himself to advancing authentic Kerala-style Ayurveda across North India, drawing on his expertise in identifying and utilizing medicinal plants, which he honed during his master’s research. 

At Aster CMI, Dr. Rakesh is instrumental in integrative management for sub-acute neurological conditions such as stroke rehabilitation, spinal disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and road traffic accident recovery, collaborating with neurosurgeons and physiatrists to develop personalized treatment protocols. His expertise extends to nephrological conditions like elevated creatinine levels and metabolic nephropathy, where he works closely with nephrologists to improve functional health and minimize dialysis effects. Additionally, Dr. Rakesh employs classical Ayurveda diagnostics for palliative care in cancer patients, addressing issues such as mucositis, fatigue, and neuropathy.
