About Dr. Kalpita Thakre

Dr. Kalpita Thakre is a young and passionate surgeon who completed post graduation from Sri Sri college of Ayurvedic Science and Research hospital, Bengaluru with meritorious academic achievements.

Holds keen interest and expertise in ano-rectal disorders, Gastrointestinal disorders, wound healing, musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries. Has performed and assisted surgeries in treatment of hemorrhoids, fistula by ksharakarma and ksharasutra, hernia, cholecystectomy etc.

Proficient in para-surgical procedures like Agnikarma, siravyadha and jaloukavacharana.

Has Published many articles and a research paper in International Journal of Ayurveda and pharma research titled – “Guda varti for post operative pain management”.
