Passionate about Ayurveda, Dr. Madhu started his long career as an Ayurvedic Physician in the year 1993. He entered the field of Ayurveda with an intention to serve the deserving and suffering people using Ayurvedic treatments and medicines and make them aware of the values and benefits of Ayurveda. Having completed BSc, BAMS (Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Medical College, Ollur, Thrissur) and DAc – all from Calicut University, Kerala, Dr. Madhu has by now served more than 27 years in healthcare service nationally and internationally, amassing rich treatment experience.

Picking up on his penchant for healing and wellness, he proved his medical calibre at ‘Oushadhi’ (Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturing Unit) at Thrissur for 1 year, and from there to ‘Amala Cancer Hospital and Research Centre’ at Thrissur, where he did research in AIDS & CANCER for 1 year. His journey continued in Ayurveda at ‘Keraleeya Ayurveda Samajam Hospital’ at Shoranur for a tenure of 1 year.

He also served at the ‘Kerala Ayurveda Pharmacy Ltd. in their various branches at Chennai, Aluva, and Ernakulam as Medical Officer and Branch in-charge for 7 years. Later moved on to Malaysia to work as Centre Manager cum Ayurvedic Physician in a 5 Star Deluxe Resort ’Tanjunj Rhu’ for a period of 3 years. Then he worked with ‘Birla Kerala Vaidyasala’ at their Bangalore, Pondichery, Chennai, Aluva and Ernakulam branches for a long period of 8 years. During that period, he got chances to treat several dignitaries, like Mrs. Kokila Ben - the beloved Mother of the business tycoon Mr. Mukesh Ambani, and several other Celebrities as well.

He has been consulting at ‘AyurVAID Hospitals’ Kadavanthra as Senior Consulting Physician for 6 years. His expertise spans from chronic Skin conditions (like Psoriasis), Muscle and Bone Conditions (Arthritis and Back Issues), Ano-rectal conditions to Infertility. His other interests include listening to Indian Classical Music and practicing Yoga. He is married to Mrs. Soumini and the couple is blessed with a cheerful son, Prasanth.
