Dr Ritu Kumari is a highly distinguished, research-driven Ayurveda Physician with 6 years of clinical experience, practising at Apollo AyurVAID, New Delhi. She completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from the prestigious Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, and her Master of Medicine (MD) in Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine) from Delhi. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Kayachikitsa at the premier Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA), Jamnagar, where her doctoral research focuses on Ayurvedic interventions for chronic low back pain and osteoarthritis through systematic reviews and network meta-analyses. Dr Ritu specialises in Kayachikitsa, with advanced clinical expertise in musculoskeletal and spine disorders, including prolapsed intervertebral disc (Gridhrasi), chronic low back pain, metabolic and endocrine disorders, and inflammatory diseases. Her medical practice is defined by disease staging, precise diagnostic correlation, and protocol-driven, evidence-informed care. She has a strong foundation in clinical research and has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed national and international journals. Her research pedigree includes active participation in World Health Organization (WHO)-supported projects, Ministry of AYUSH-funded initiatives, and international evidence-review collaborations.
