Dr Keshava Bhat Sarpangala is a senior, highly distinguished Ayurveda Physician and Healthcare Administrator who brings over 35 years of rich clinical and administrative experience to Apollo AyurVAID. He completed his BAMS from Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Ollur, Kerala, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Management (PGDHM) from the prestigious National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), New Delhi. Trained in the highly revered Ashtavaidya Ayurveda tradition of Kerala, Dr Keshava Bhat’s clinical practice focuses on managing chronic, degenerative, and lifestyle disorders through personalised Ayurvedic treatment plans, classical Panchakarma therapies, and preventive healthcare. His administrative career is equally illustrious; he was a key member of the core team at AyurVAID involved in establishing India’s first NABH-accredited Ayurveda hospitals, designing and implementing structured quality healthcare systems in Ayurvedic clinical practice. He has held senior clinical and leadership roles at reputed institutions in India and internationally, including Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Hospitals, Kerala Ayurveda Limited, and leading healthcare centres in Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In addition to his clinical and administrative responsibilities, Dr Keshava Bhat serves as a Subject Expert in Ayurveda on the Institutional Ethics Committee at St John's Medical College, Bangalore, contributing to research oversight and the scientific validation of Ayurvedic therapies and formulations.
