Brief Medical History

A 34years old male c/o severe redness and burning sensation in his eyes. Patient experiences severe itching all over his body at times and is increased at night times. K/C/O DM, HTN since 5 years and Hepatitis (Alcoholic liver disease) since 6 years.

Outcome

Mr. Prasanna Reddy, had come to the hospital with severe hepatitis and raised Liver parameters. Patient was right away admitted as IP because of the severity of the condition. Soon after the 1st week, the liver parameters came down and the redness, burning sensation of eyes had reduced. He was advised with multiple medications from the allopathic hospital where patient was admitted for a while. All his medicines other than diabetes and hypertension medicines were stopped. Towards the end of treatments all his medicines were stopped, and he was advised to continue with ayurvedic medicines. The following are his outcome tracking before, during and after the treatments.

Conclusion

A drastic change was observed by stopping the allopathic medicines for Hepatitis, DM and HTN. All his vitals were in normal limits and the eye disorders like severe redness and burning was totally absent at the time of discharge. His liver functions were in normal limits and patient was advised to continue with ayurvedic medicines. He comes for regular follow ups and minor treatments at correct intervals as advised by the physician.
