Last year, at this time, I couldn’t bend or stand straight or even sit for a long time. The pain was excruciating and unbearable.

My name is Sreekala T. I was brought up in Delhi and since 2009, I have been living in Kerala. For my work, I had to travel from Ernakulam to Haripad by train every day. Due to my severe lower back and tailbone pain, travelling had become an ordeal. At work, I couldn’t sit for a long period, which hampered my concentration and compelled me to apply for leaves. Due to my prior treatments, I had started putting on weight. I couldn’t exercise to keep a check on my weight, as that would exacerbate my pain. I completely stopped travelling by bus and preferred trains so that I could at least lie down to relieve my pain. This took a toll on my mental health. I was stressed and disturbed and desperately wanted a solution.

It was then that I learned about AyurVAID Hospitals and decided to give it a try. I had a consultation with the doctor who, after taking an X-Ray, suggested that I undergo a treatment. I was there for 15 days, and by the end of it, my tailbone pain had disappeared almost completely. I was ecstatic! I told all my friends about the brilliance of AyurVAID hospital, so that they could also experience it when needed.

My pain had considerably subsided, and my weight had gone down. In order to get it cured completely, I decided to continue my treatment this year too at AyurVAID, and am still under medications for the same. I’m optimistic that I’ll get rid of it completely.

My family couldn’t be there physically during my treatment, but the doctors and staff at AyurVAID did not let me feel their absence. I had all their support, and the systematic way in which they carried out the treatment put me at peace.

From a person who couldn’t even sit and bend and carry out the day-to-day chores, I can now perform all my tasks with considerable ease. It’s a wonderful experience!
