Dr. Divya T

Dr. Divya T is an Ayurveda Neuro-psychiatrist with specialised training in the management of mental health, neurological, and psychosomatic disorders through integrative Ayurvedic care. She completed her BAMS from Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bengaluru, and pursued her MD in Mano Vijnana Evam Manasa Roga (Ayurveda Neuro-psychiatry) from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. 

She has trained and worked in the Department of Integrative Medicine at NIMHANS, where she was involved in managing both outpatient and inpatient care for neuropsychiatric and neurological conditions. Her clinical experience includes working within multidisciplinary teams comprising neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, and yoga therapists, enabling a holistic and evidence-informed approach to patient care.

Dr. Divya’s areas of clinical interest include anxiety, depression, psychosomatic disorders, neurological conditions, addiction management, and child and adolescent mental health. She is experienced in integrating Panchakarma therapies, Sattvavajaya Chikitsa (Ayurvedic psychotherapy), Yoga-based interventions, and lifestyle guidance as part of structured treatment protocols.

She is currently practicing at Apollo AyurVAID, Arekere, where she focuses on delivering personalised, classical Ayurveda care for patients with mental health and neurological conditions, with an emphasis on long-term recovery, functional improvement, and overall well-being.
