Dr. Rijju P K

Dr. Rijju P K is an Ayurveda physician with over 6 years of clinical experience in Ayurveda medicine and Panchakarma, with exposure to hospital-based practice across India and international Ayurveda centres. Currently associated with Apollo AyurVAID Hospitals, he focuses on delivering structured, classical Ayurveda care for patients with chronic and lifestyle-related health concerns. He completed his BAMS from the Indian Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine and Research, Bengaluru, and went on to pursue his MD (Ayurveda) from SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi, where he also served as a Senior Resident, gaining strong clinical grounding in diagnosis and treatment planning within institutional settings.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Rijju has worked with reputed Ayurveda hospitals and centres including Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital in Tumkur, Pranav Ayur Hospital in Bengaluru, Indus Kerala Ayurveda Centre in Malaysia, Dr. Shyam’s Ayurveda Centre at Dubai Healthcare City, and the Institute of Ayurveda & Integrative Medicine (I-AIM) in Bengaluru. These roles have provided him experience in managing both outpatient and inpatient departments, supervising Panchakarma therapies, coordinating with therapy teams, and supporting structured clinical care delivery within hospital environments.

Clinically, he has experience in the Ayurveda management of spinal disorders, neurological conditions including hemiplegia and other nervous system disorders, rheumatoid arthritis and degenerative joint diseases, gastrointestinal conditions, respiratory disorders, skin diseases, and allergic conditions. He is well-versed in Panchakarma therapies and adopts a systematic approach to diagnosis and treatment, integrating classical Ayurvedic assessment with appropriate clinical investigations where required.
