Dr. Swetha S Suvarna

Dr Swetha S. Suvarna is the Medical Superintendent and Lead Consultant in the Department of Ayurveda Stree Roga & Prasuti Tantra (Ayurvedic Gynaecology and Obstetrics) at Apollo AyurVAID @ Aster CMI and Divakar AyurVAID. With more than 18 years of clinical experience, she has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and attentive care to obstetric and gynaecological patients. Dr Swetha completed her specialised training as an Ayurveda gynaecological and Obstetric surgeon at the prestigious S.D.M. Ayurveda Medical College, Udupi. She subsequently honed her advanced clinical skills in Kerala under the mentorship of eminent traditional doctors who specialise in classical Ayurvedic Panchakarma procedures.
Throughout her clinical practice in leading Ayurveda hospitals, Dr Swetha has compiled numerous success stories across the entire spectrum of women's health. Her area of expertise spans from adolescence through postmenopause. She specialises in managing gynaecological, obstetric, and endocrine disorders, including Menarche and Adolescence, amenorrhoea, dysmenorrhoea, Pelvic Inflammation, Uterine Fibroids, and Uterine Prolapse. She also delivers advanced care for complex conditions such as Infertility Management, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), and Thyroid Dysfunction. In her obstetric practice, she offers Pre-conception care and pregnancy care (Antenatal & postnatal) and supports patients through Natural Birthing and medical care.
Dr Swetha is committed to supporting women through every stage of life, employing an integrative approach where she collaborates closely with modern medicine experts to provide holistic care in Women’s Healthcare, gynaecology, and Obstetrics. Working alongside specialists at Divakar, she designs comprehensive, personalised plans and treatment packages, ensuring the delivery of top-quality healthcare services that are tailored to the unique needs of each woman. Beyond her clinical duties, she is a dedicated academician who has successfully trained several undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Stree Roga and Prasuti Tantra department. Furthermore, she has conducted extensive research and thesis work focused on the Ayurvedic understanding and management of PCOS.
