Dr Susmitha C has over 8 years of experience in the Ayurveda field. She completed her Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery at Government Ayurveda College, Tripunithura, under M. G. University from 2008 to 2013, securing a university rank. She pursued her postgraduate studies at VPSV Ayurveda College, Kottakkal, from 2016 to 2019, bagging a university rank. Dr Susmitha specialises in a comprehensive range of neurological and psychiatric conditions, as well as autoimmune disorders, focusing on both paediatric and adult populations. Her expertise covers neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and learning disabilities, as well as neuropsychiatry, addressing the complex relationship between neurological and psychiatric symptoms. She is also well-versed in managing neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease. In child psychiatry, Dr Susmitha is dedicated to addressing mental health conditions in children and adolescents, along with paediatric developmental disorders involving speech, motor skills, and cognitive development. She is a clinical expert in Ayurveda-psychotherapy, specifically Smriti meditation, and was trained in the Department of Psychiatry at NIMHANS, Bangalore.
