Dr. Sithara R V, completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Amrita School of Ayurveda, Kerala, where she secured the second rank. Furthering her specialization, she completed a Fellowship in Sports Rehabilitation at Medvarsity, Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad, and earned a Master of Surgery in Ayurvedic Medicine (Shalya Tantra) from Dr. D Y Patil College of Ayurved and Research Centre, Pune.

During her internship at Amrita Ayurved Hospital in Vallickavu, Kerala, Dr. Sithara honed her skills in formulating tailored treatment plans, integrating herbal remedies, dietary adjustments, and lifestyle modifications. She actively collaborated with fellow healthcare professionals to incorporate Ayurvedic practices into comprehensive patient care, attending educational workshops and seminars to further her understanding and promote awareness of holistic well-being.

Dr. Sithara’s professional journey includes roles that have enriched her surgical skills and patient care capabilities. From her tenure as a Surgery Assistant at Chavan Hospital in Pimpri Pune, where she actively participated in surgical procedures and assisted in wound closure, to her role as a Surgery Resident at Dr. D Y Patil College of Ayurved and Research Centre in Pune, where she provided thorough pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups, Dr. Sithara has consistently demonstrated a dedication to delivering compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients. Her expertise is in Anorectal procedures such as Fissurectomy with LIS, Haemorrhoidectomy, Fistulectomy, and Lipoma Excision.
