Anaemia

Anaemia is a serious yet common health condition in which the normal number of healthy RBCs or Hb falls below average. It is mostly seen in children, menstruating women, and pregnant or postpartum women. It can be caused due to poor nutrition, recurrent infections, heavy menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth related blood loss, blood disorders and family history. In Ayurveda Anaemia is mentioned as Pandu roga, which is a Pitta dosha imbalance along with Vata. This causes rasa and rakta dushti or vitiation of plasma and blood. Ayurveda treatment involves eliminating the vitiated Pitta, balancing Vata and nourishing Rasa and Rakta.AyurVAID treatment protocols aim to balance the doshas, correct the metabolism and impart dhathu poshana or tissue nourishment..
