Dr. Byresh Appaiah

Dr Byresh Appaiah is a highly eminent, nationally acclaimed Senior Physician, Academician, and Healthcare Quality Leader with over 20 years of rich clinical and administrative experience at Apollo AyurVAID Hospital, Bengaluru. He holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree, with a Gold Medal and the prestigious Dabur Ayurmedha Award for academic excellence. He completed his post-graduation (MD) in Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine) and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital & Health Management. A certified National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) Assessor, Dr Byresh currently serves as the Principal of the prestigious Adichunchanagiri Ayurvedic Medical College in Nelamangala, Bangalore. His clinical expertise spans chronic and complex systemic disorders, specialising in Neurological conditions (such as Parkinson’s disease), advanced Joint and Spinal disorders, and severe Skin diseases (Psoriasis, Eczema, Vitiligo, acne, and Lichen Planus). His therapeutic portfolio also covers hepatobiliary disorders, peripheral vascular disorders (Thromboangiitis Obliterans [TAO], Varicose Veins), respiratory ailments, Renal Calculi, chronic Migraines, Gastrointestinal disorders (Ulcerative Colitis), Obesity, PCOS, and non-healing ulcers.
