Ayurveda Approach to Managing Malaria

Malaria fever is caused by a mosquito bite. This mosquito bite mainly involves the Plasmodium parasite. When a mosquito carrying this parasite bites, the toxin enters our bloodstream and reaches the liver, causing an infection. When the infection spreads to the RBC cells, the malaria parasite is released, leading to fever. Malaria fever typically presents with high fever, severe and intense chills, and profuse sweating. Patients often experience fatigue, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, and muscle pain. Additionally, there may be an increased heartbeat, rapid breathing, and a general sense of lethargy. If not treated promptly, these symptoms can worsen and lead to serious health complications. Timely medical intervention is essential to manage and prevent the progression of the illness.
