Dr. Anju Balakrishnan, an MD in Dravyaguna Vijnana (Clinical pharmacology) from Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda, is a passionate Ayurveda consultant and physician in Out Patient Department(OPD) basis.
With over 4 years of Ayurveda experience, doctor Anju has worked as a consulting physician and medical officer at many clinics previously. She has worked for the government sector under the district of family and welfare society in Udupi and with various Ayurvedic clinics in Kerala. Her area of expertise is respiratory disorders, lifestyle disorders, and gastrointestinal disorders.
Doctor Anju has also published various articles related to Ayurvedic treatment namely, Rajakoshataki(Luffa Acutangula (L). Roxb). An Underrated Drug speaks about the assessment of the rajakoshataki drug on quality standards, safety, and therapeutic action. And critical review of Krimigna Dashemani speak of the importance of the herb in Ayurveda.
