Dr. Lakshmipriya S

Dr. Lakshmipriya S. is an Ayurveda physician with an MD in Swathavritha and Yoga from Government Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Mysuru, and clinical experience spanning Ayurvedic outpatient care, diagnosis, treatment planning, and lifestyle counselling. She completed her BAMS from Government Ayurveda College, Tripunithura, Kerala, and has clinical experience across Ayurveda hospitals and clinics in Kerala and Bengaluru.
Her clinical interests include the Ayurvedic management of chronic and lifestyle-related disorders, metabolic disorders, dyslipidaemia, metabolic syndrome, gastrointestinal disorders, skin disorders, and geriatric health conditions. She has particular experience in disease-specific diet and lifestyle counselling and in the use of Panchakarma and parasurgical procedures as part of personalised Ayurveda care. Her clinical exposure includes procedures such as Siravedha, Jalukacharana, Agnikarma, Vidhakarma, and cupping therapy.
Dr. Lakshmipriya has also been actively involved in clinical research during her postgraduate training. Her MD dissertation focused on the management of functional constipation in the geriatric population, while her other research work explored Ayurvedic approaches to plaque psoriasis and dyslipidaemia. She has presented research papers at national and international seminars and has received awards for her presentations, including a first prize for a paper presentation at a national seminar and a first prize in a national poster presentation.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Lakshmipriya has experience in undergraduate teaching, academic presentations, interdepartmental discussions, and academic coordination. Her approach combines classical Ayurvedic principles with evidence-based clinical practice, personalised diet and lifestyle guidance, and appropriate therapeutic interventions to support long-term health and wellbeing.
