Dr. Keshava Bhat

Dr. Keshava Bhat Sarpangala is a senior Ayurveda physician and healthcare administrator with over 30 years of experience in classical Ayurveda practice, Panchakarma-based care, hospital administration, and integrative healthcare management. He completed his BAMS from Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Ollur, Kerala, and has also pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management (PGDHM) from the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), New Delhi.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Keshava Bhat has held senior clinical and leadership roles across reputed Ayurveda institutions in India and overseas, including Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Hospitals, Kerala Ayurveda Limited, and healthcare centres in Sri Lanka and the UAE. He has extensive experience in establishing and managing Ayurveda treatment centres, leading multidisciplinary teams, and implementing structured quality healthcare systems rooted in classical Kerala Ayurveda practices.

Dr. Keshava Bhat was part of the core team at AyurVAID, involved in establishing India’s first NABH-accredited Ayurveda hospitals, contributing to the implementation of structured quality healthcare systems in Ayurveda practice. He brings with him over three decades of experience in patient-centric Ayurveda care, hospital operations, and quality-driven clinical practice.

Trained under the renowned Ashtavaidya Ayurveda tradition, his clinical practice focuses on the management of chronic and lifestyle disorders through personalised Ayurvedic treatment plans, Panchakarma therapies, preventive healthcare, and long-term wellness approaches. In addition to his clinical work, he also serves as a Subject Expert (Ayurveda) for the Institutional Ethics Committee at St. John’s Medical College, contributing to research oversight involving Ayurvedic therapies and formulations.
