Dr. Meera Sathish

Dr. Meera Sathish is an Ayurveda physician, internal medicine specialist, and public health researcher with over a decade of experience across clinical practice, academic leadership, and evidence-based research in Ayurveda. She holds a PhD in Public Health Nutrition from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and completed her MD (Ayurveda) in Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine) from Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram, where she was awarded a gold medal for academic excellence. She completed her BAMS from the same institution, building a strong foundation in classical Ayurveda and clinical medicine.

Dr. Meera is currently associated with Apollo AyurVAID Hospitals as a Senior Consultant Physician and will be consulting at Apollo AyurVAID Hospitals, Arekere, where she contributes to delivering structured, evidence-based Ayurveda care. She has previously worked in prestigious organisations such as Shri Dhanwantry Ayurveda Medical College and Pankajakasturi Ayurveda Medical College Hospital, where she has been involved in clinical care, hospital operations, and mentoring medical professionals.

Clinically, her areas of interest include neurological disorders, pain management, weight management, metabolic disorders, autoimmune conditions, and addiction care, where she integrates classical Ayurveda principles with modern clinical approaches. Her work emphasises personalised treatment planning, Panchakarma therapies, and lifestyle interventions aimed at improving long-term health outcomes.
