I am a 32-year-old guy having the problem which is scientifically termed as ‘Hideradenitis Suppurativa’. I used to get boils under my both armpits recurrently for the past 3 years and off later the frequency of recurrence has increased. I check with 3 to 4 dermatologists who were able to cure the infection for the time being but the recurrence never stopped. That when I wanted to try Ayurvedic medicines for the problem.

When I first consulted Dr. Zankhana Buch at AyurVAID Hospitals, Ramamurthynagar, interestingly she recognized the problem by hearing the history of it. Instead of prescribing the medicines to cure it alone, she also prescribed treatment to remove the root cause which is causing the problem. At least I have not heard of ( a treatment) attacking the root cause (of the problem) in medical terms (anywhere else). Allopathy mostly treats the problem. That is the first difference and a major one I felt here.

It took 2 months for me to decide to try on the treatment prescribed as I am totally new to the ayurveda way of treatments. Here am, after finishing 9 days of my detoxification program. Few things which I liked with people and practices h ere.

1. Most of the staff know details about me and hence I did not have to explain much whenever I needed help.

2. Constant monitoring of patients IP/OP

3. Deriving at next course of action based on evidence from patients themselves.
