Dr. Pranali Dandekar

Dr Pranali Dandekar is an eminent, highly accomplished Senior Ayurveda gynaecologist and Women's Health Specialist with an outstanding career spanning over 20 years in Prasutitantra & Striroga (Ayurvedic Obstetrics and gynaecology). She completed her BAMS from the historic R.A. Podar Ayurvedic Medical College, Mumbai, and holds a Master of Medicine (MD) in Prasutitantra & Striroga from the Government Ayurved College, Nanded. A UGC-NET-qualified academician, she currently serves as an Associate Professor at YMT Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, Navi Mumbai, where she leads postgraduate teaching, clinical mentoring, and PhD research guidance. Over her distinguished career, Dr Pranali has directed clinical and academic programmes at major healthcare and educational institutions, including D.Y. Patil College & Hospital, Nerul, Nallasopara Ayurvedic College, Charak Health Centre, and her private practice in Panvel. Her clinical expertise is focused on the holistic, non-surgical management of PCOS, female infertility, menstrual disorders, menopause, cervical health, and preventive gynaecology, utilising classical Panchakarma therapies, Uttarbasti, Garbhasanskar (prenatal education), Garbhini Paricharya (pregnancy care), and Sutika Paricharya (postpartum care). She is an active quality leader who has contributed to institutional quality initiatives for NABH, NAAC, and QCI. A regular speaker at national and international forums, her patient-centric approach combines classical Ayurvedic teachings with contemporary diagnostic methods to support women’s long-term hormonal and reproductive health.
