Ayurveda Regime for 3rd Month of Pregnancy

In the third month of pregnancy, Ayurveda recommends incorporating porridge into the diet, along with milk and honey. Frequent consumption of honey is advised, but it is crucial to ensure that honey is not added to hot food or used during cooking. Instead, it should be added only after the food has cooled to a safe temperature, as heating honey can have adverse effects on both mother and baby. This dietary recommendation builds upon the first and second-month regimen of milk, liquid foods, and naturally sweet foods, providing continued nourishment for both the mother and the growing fetus.
