Dr. Aswathi A T

Dr.Aswathi.AT (BAMS, MS) is a seasoned Ayurveda physician with over 13 years of rich experience across diverse domain facets. She specialises in ayurvedic gynaecology (Prasoothi Tantra and Stree Roga).

Her diversity comes to fore in the varied experiences she’s garnered over her tenure thus far, in both clinical consulting as well as research and academic focus in the Ayurveda domain. She is also well-versed in traditional Kerala based Panchakarma therapies.

Being a native Malayalee, she completed her graduation in Ayurveda (BAMS) from Vishnu Ayurveda College, Calicut University Kerala. Post her graduation, she served as an apprentice at the Dhanwanthari Institute of Dermatology with renowned Ayurveda physician Dr. CM Srikrishnan where she focused on skin diseases and various allergic conditions.

Post relocation to Delhi-NCR she’s worked with several established Ayurveda institutions as a clinical physician – these include stints at Kottakkal Ayurveda, Vaidyaratnam and the AYUSH OPD at Safdarjung Hospital.

In the interim she pursued and completed her M.S. in Ayurveda from the Sri Sai Ayurveda Medical College, Kanpur University – specializing in ayurvedic gynecology (Prasoothi Tantra and Stree Roga).

She’s also served as Research Scientist at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India – bringing to fore integration of the best available research experience in Ayurveda.

She has also presented papers at various national and international conferences. She has a paper published in the Journal of Ayurveda and Integrated Medical Sciences – namely Ayurvedic Management of Ardita – A case report. She is also specialized in yoga from the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga. She is certified in Health Research Fundamentals.
