Dr. Pranali Dandekar

Dr. Pranali Dandekar is a senior Ayurveda gynaecologist and women’s health specialist with over 20 years of experience in Prasutitantra & Striroga (Ayurvedic Obstetrics and Gynaecology). She completed her BAMS from R.A. Podar Ayurvedic Medical College, Mumbai, and her MD (Ayurveda) in Prasutitantra & Striroga from Government Ayurved College, Nanded. A UGC-NET qualified academician, she currently serves as Associate Professor at YMT Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, Navi Mumbai, and has played an active role in postgraduate teaching, research, and clinical mentoring.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Pranali has held academic and clinical positions at D.Y. Patil College & Hospital, Nerul, Navi Mumbai; Nallasopara Ayurvedic College, Nallasopara; and Charak Health Centre across Thane, Ghatkopar, and Vashi, while also running her own gynaecology practice in Panvel. Her experience spans clinical care, academic leadership, postgraduate and PhD guidance, quality initiatives, and women’s health outreach programs. She has mentored postgraduate scholars, guided PhD research, and contributed to institutional quality initiatives including NABH, NAAC, and QCI-related activities.
Her clinical expertise includes the Ayurvedic management of PCOS, infertility, menstrual disorders, antenatal and postnatal care, Garbhasanskar, menopause-related concerns, cervical health, and preventive women’s healthcare. She has extensive experience in Panchakarma-based women’s wellness therapies, Uttarbasti, Garbhini Paricharya, and Sutika Paricharya, with a strong focus on personalised treatment plans that integrate classical Ayurveda with modern women’s healthcare needs.
Dr. Pranali has authored multiple research publications and has been invited to speak at national and international forums on women’s health, PCOS, pregnancy care, Garbhasanskar, and lifestyle disorders. Her patient-centred approach emphasises accurate diagnosis, holistic care, lifestyle modification, and long-term reproductive and hormonal health, helping women achieve sustainable wellness across different stages of life.
