Dr. Smitha Jayadev

Dr. Smitha Jayadev has a distinguished academic background and a career spanning 19 years in the field of Ayurveda medicine. She has a Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Government Ayurveda College in Kannur, Kerala, India. Building on this foundation, she pursued a Master of Alternative Medicine (MD) from the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines. Dr. Smitha’s commitment to continuous learning is further evident through her completion of certificate courses, including specialized training in Principles and Practices of Bandaging Technique in Agastya Marma Chikitsa Paddathi, participation in the Vanitha Clinic Training Program, and the attainment of a Diploma in Ayurvedic Cosmetology.

Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Smitha has held diverse and pivotal roles that demonstrate her proficiency in patient care and therapeutic recommendations. She embarked on her journey as a Trainee Physician and Research Assistant at Aryavaidya Pharmacy. Subsequently, she served as a Consultant Physician at Ayush Therapy Center. Dr. Smitha’s dedication to Ayurveda medicine continued as she assumed the role of Consultant Physician at Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala. She further enriched her career at Patanjali Arogya Kendra and at Jeevamrutham Ayurvedics. Her responsibilities also encompassed senior positions, including as Senior Medical Officer at Paramount Health Services (TPA) Pvt Ltd and Senior Physician at Sadayush Ayurvedic Cure and Care.

Dr. Smitha’s expertise extends to diverse medical conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, neurological disorders, metabolic syndromes, gastrointestinal complaints, dermatological problems, obesity, respiratory issues, and gynecological conditions, among others. Beyond patient care, she has actively contributed to the field by delivering informative talks and writing articles on various wellness and disease management topics. Her proficiency also encompasses recommending and supervising panchakarma therapies and overseeing outpatient treatment procedures.
